WNC Success Stories-
Worked with the City and County to find acceptable use for the old welfare building at Pico and Veteran.

The old Welfare Department Building on Pico and Veteran has become an eyesore for the neighborhood and thus the WNC has been working with various city agencies to find a suitable tenant for the property.  We hope that this can be achieved in 2005.  In the meantime, we urged the City to cut the trees and make the area's front more presentable.

The 2300Residents Community Action Group (residents of the 2300 blocks of Greenfield and Veteran Avenues which border on Pico) was initially formed to address the future use of the former social services building located at 10961 Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles. (To learn more Click Here)
